Light Lemony Pasta

Sometimes a tart citrus taste is soothing to the stomach. This light pasta goes easily with whatever you're serving or alone for a comfort pasta dish.

Makes 4 servings

8 ounces angel hair pasta
1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 tablespoons lemon juice
1/3 cup chopped parsley
Salt and pepper to taste

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions, reserving 1/4 cup cooking water; drain well and set aside. Transfer pasta to large serving dish.
  2. Add remaining ingredients including reserved 1/4 cup cooking water; toss together until well combined. Serve warm or at room temperature.

Terrific Tip: If making pasta ahead of time, drizzle and toss with a little olive oil to prevent from sticking together. Even if just a quick sniff, lemons may provide instant relief for nausea symptoms.
